Clan Information: "With Fortitude," cry the scattered children of Kintail. Hailing from the West Highlands where Clan MacRae was renowned for their prowess in combat and expert marksmanship. They aligned themselves with Clan Mackenzie, becoming known as Mackenzie's "Shirt of mail." They served as constables of Eilean Donan Castle. Following the end of the Jacobite wars, many MacRaes left Kintail bound for America.
