Clan Information: The Family whose forebear was Robert the Bruce, King of Scots from 1306 to 1329. Now led by the Right Honorable Andrew, Lord Elgin, 11th Earl of Elgin (hard g as in git not gin) and Kincardine. Having celebrated the 700th anniversary of Robert’s coronation in 2006, the family looks forward to an even bigger celebration of the 700th anniversary of his victory at Bannockburn in 2014.
